Stephanie's Story
In clinic, Stephanie was advised Kenalog steroid injections to aid the healing of the larger pustules as a one-off treatment in the early stages and underwent several Dermalux sessions.
Stephanie underwent a 6-month treatment programme with us using our ZO Skin Health Programme. Our ZO Skin Health products are largely focused on repairing damaged and inflamed skin and benefit those who want to reduce redness and inflammation, such as patients suffering with Rosacea.
She was advised the ‘Skin Normalising System & Wrinkle & Texture Repair with Broad Spectrum SPF’. She was also prescribed Zenii Omega (3 Supplements) & Roaccutane (20mg) a day- having now stopped Rocaccuatne and switched to Zenii Pro Clear.
Following her procedure, Stephanie popped back into the clinic, radiating happiness both on the inside and out. Her face and smile beaming and crying tears of happiness. ‘It brought a tear to my eye to have been able to help this beautiful lady, not only with her physical needs, but also her psychological needs too.’- Sara, CEO, who says that treating Acne and Rosacea is her favourite treatment to do in clinic.
Here at Pure Perfection Clinic we not only assist with the treatment of Rosacea, it is our mission to help those who suffer, to change their outlook and regain confidence with their skin again.

FAQs
What is the main cause of rosacea?
The main cause of rosacea is unknown, but research suggests genetics, an overactive immune system, blood vessel abnormalities and allergic reactions could all be a cause.
What are the triggers of rosacea?
We recommend reducing the potential triggers in your everyday life and seeing if your skin clears up. Introduce them one-by-one and monitor whether your skin flares again. Your rosacea can be triggered by a variety of products and everyday factors, such as:
- Skincare, makeup and hair products
- Spicy food and alcohol
- Stress
- Sunlight and heat
- Cold wind
- Exercise
Does rosacea get worse with age?
Rosacea typically becomes prominent in your 30s and can worsen with age. There is currently no cure, but there are multiple treatments which help manage the condition.
What rosacea treatments do you offer?
We offer three treatment plans depending on the severity of your rosacea. We will start with a skin review and prepare an at-home skincare plan, as well as our in-clinic laser and light treatments.
How many treatment sessions are recommended?
The amount of treatment sessions depends on the severity of your rosacea. Many of our patients undergo a large six-month treatment plan and then a long-term prescription-based treatment. As rosacea is incurable, it is likely you will require regular treatment if it persists.
