Fractora
Achieve more resilient, youthful-looking and smoother skin.
As we age, the skin can suffer signs of degradation, damage and wear and tear. This is all part of the ageing process but not something we welcome. Tight and firm skin is a must, when it comes to looking youthful and healthy.
Fractora skin treatment is a fractional rejuvenation and resurfacing treatment that reduces wrinkles to slow the effects of aging and restore skin to its youthful appearance. Fractora lets you look and feel younger.
One of the most effective ways to restore the skin’s elasticity is the use of radiofrequency (RF) technology and here at Pure Perfection Clinic in Rossett, near Chester, Cheshire and Wrexham on the North Wales border, we offer Fractora, a clinically-proven and highly-effective RF device for skin rejuvenation.

Which conditions can be treated with Fractora?
- Lines and wrinkles
- Sagging, loose skin
- Sun damage, pigmentation and age spots
- Acne scars
- Dull and dehydrated skin
What is Fractora?
Fractora is a hand-held device which utilizes fractional radio-frequency energy to heat the lower layers of the skin, causing a healing response and the stimulation of collagen and elastin within the dermis. This treatment can be used on facial areas that are developing lines and wrinkles, scars or pigmentation.
The skin is gently heated by placing a small probe device against its surface. The RF energy is passed through a series of very small bipolar pins which as well as heating the lower layers of the skin, causes tiny pin-pricks, which the body responds to with the healing response required to increase collagen and elastin. Over time the skin becomes firmer, smoother, more resilient and with a more even tone.

When will I see the results from Fractora?
Visible results can be seen immediately and you may experience some redness and red spotting immediately following the treatment, which will naturally subside. Typically after around 2 weeks, the most noticeable results will appear and improvements can improve for up to 3 months after your treatment.
As Fractora stimulates the production of new collagen to remodel and rejuvenate the skin, the results are typically permanent. Unfortunately, no cosmetic treatment will halt the natural ageing process, so your skin will continue to age, so future treatments are necessary to maintain the superb cosmetic improvements achieved by your initial course
You can achieve noticeable results after just 1 session. However, it is advised that for the very best results possible, a course of 1 to 6 sessions is usually recommended.
If you are experiencing the signs of ageing, have lines, wrinkles or dry and dehydrated skin, if you suffer from acne scarring or uneven skin tone and texture, Fractora could be just the treatment for you.
Each Fractora treatment is unique to your individual skin concern and level of damage. This will determine the aggressiveness of treatment required. Around 45 minutes before the treatment begins, a topical anaesthetic cream will be applied, so that you are fully comfortable throughout the procedure. For more aggressive treatment an injectable anaesthetic may be required. A cold air chiller may be used in conjunction with the treatment so that heat to the surface of the skin is minimized. This helps the Fractora treatment penetrate deeper in to the skin for a more effective result as well as more comfort for you.
As a topical or injectable anaesthetic will be used, prior to treatment, Fractora should not be painful. However, you may experience some heat sensation or tingling on the skin as the device head is passed across your skin. This warm sensation may continue for a few hours afterwards but this is completely normal.
Fractora is a non-surgical procedure which can dramatically improve the look and feel of your skin. However, it’s important that before any treatment can commence here at Pure Perfection Clinic, you attend a no obligation consultation so that your chosen practitioner can assess your individual skin concerns and requirements, check your medical history and ensure you are both fit and well and suitable for the treatment.
